The Top Ten Reasons Working for Someone Else Is Not Smart**Reason # 10: You’ll spend 90,000 hours of your life working for someone else so you’ll get a gold watch and a really cool part-time job at Wal-Mart as a greeter.

**Reason # 9: Working about 40 hours a week, you’ll spend 2,000 hours a year working for your employer. In exchange you’ll get 80 hours of vacation time absolutely FREE!

**Reason # 8: It’s been a rough day. You’re home relaxing, watching “America’s Most Wanted” on TV and, to your horror, you realize the babysitter you leave your precious children with each and every day is on the FBI Top Ten Most Wanted list!

**Reason #7: You get up when you don’t want to, drive someplace you don’t want to go, and make a living working with people you really don’t like.

**Reason # 6: Would you be wearing something different if they didn’t tell you how to dress?

**Reason # 5: Your company may think it’s really cool to let you go. “Newsweek” Magazine says firing people has gotten to be trendy in corporate America.

**Reason # 4: Asking for time off is too much like asking your parents for permission.

**Reason # 3: Good News. You’ve survived the downsizing. The bad news is that you have to go home and tell the family you’re being transferred to a country you did not know existed.

**Reason # 2: Elephants work for peanuts – why should you?  Shouldn’t you be paid what you’re really worth?

**Reason # 1: Yes, the Number 1 reason why working for someone else is just plain dumb: this is America and you don’t have to!

Yes, America is still the land of great opportunity but it’s just not in the same place you’re used to looking.  You know, people who work half as hard as you do, and are earning great part-time incomes, taking dream vacations and even making fistfuls of money.  What’s your excuse for not building your own successful business?  What have you got to lose except a BOSS?  Perhaps we can add another reason to this list.  Why work for someone else, when you can work for yourself doing something you LOVE – sharing the joy and excitement of shopping and travel for fun and profit?  If you still haven’t made the decision to become a home-based business owner, why not make today the day. Frank McMillon "The WOW" Factor

This posting was orignally made on my My Space profile and blog on June 02, 2007.  I felt it necessary to share it with you here…have an awesome day!

Change Your Tax StatusDID YOU KNOW?  The average American family can get up to $5,000 back on their taxes simply by documenting their home-based business expenses!  It’s true…and here’s how you can get your share, but first…

My personal tax story (short version):  When I first started in the home based business industry, I was not aware of the tax savings that were available to me on a yearly basis.  I was un-informed, un-educated and un-mentored.  Basically, I threw $1000s of dollars away over the first 3 or 4 years because I did not know.  At $5,000 per year, that equates to over $15,000.  WOW!!!

Times have changed, the more you know, the more you grow.  The Internet has changed the way we live in a tremendous way.   I did not come up with these tax laws, this information can be found at www.IRS.gov (the Internal Revenue Services Official Website).  All you have to do is the research, I am simply sharing information.  In addition, ALWAYS consult a Tax Professional or CPA.

Examples of deductible expenses include (but not limited to):

  • Vehicle Mileage
  • Computer and related business costs (Internet and phone)
  • Office Supplies
  • Utilities
  • Travel Expenses pertaining to your business (Coordinate your travel with business opportunities)
  • Property Taxes
  • Household Maintenance
  • Entertainment & Dining Out
  • Office Space used in your home based business

I am positive that the tax information that I’ve shared will benefit you.   Become informed, educated and mentored.  I highly recommend Dr. Ron Mueller’s Home Business Tax Savings Made Easy.  Dr. Mueller provides an incredible learning center for the home based business owner.  You’ll receive tax tips, webinars and free downloads.

To your incredible success,

Frank McMillon "The WOW" Factor

The W.O.W. Factor

Hey Champion,

You’re probably wondering what “The WOW Factor” is!  To understand what “The WOW Factor” is, how you can implement it into your daily and business life, and become more successful in what you do, I’ll share the definition of “WOW” with you.

According to Merriam-Webster, there are 4 uses or definitions of the word ”WOW“.

  1. Interjection:  used to express strong feeling (as pleasure or surprise)
  2. Noun:  a striking success
  3. Transitive verb:  to excite to enthusiastic admiration or approval <a performance that wowed the critics>
  4. Noun:   a distortion in reproduced sound consisting of a slow rise and fall of pitch caused by speed variation in the reproducing system

The WOW FactorGuess what?  None of those definitions reveal to you “The WOW Factor“.  In most cases you encounter rejection during the sales and recruiting process.  You approached a family member, friend or even a stranger/cold call and the answer you received after asking for the sale was a gut-wrenching “NO”.  How many times has that happened.  After a number of “NOs”, you consider what you’re doing is not right for you and quitting enters the mind.  Not good, so stop that type of thinking right here and now.

You’re about to discover why it is all good.  No matter what home based businesss or opportunity we participate in, it’s about making sales and/or recruiting new people or business partners.  Some MLMers or Network Marketers are  recruiters, while others may be in business to generate sales.

Remember, throughout the process, you’ve encountered rejection after rejection and then even more rejection.  No matter who the potential prospect is or was that you’ve introduced your business, product and services to, your response should be and astounding  ”WOW“.

Here are a few examples, with your “WOW” response: Read the rest of this entry

Hey Champion,

FedExI am sure, just as it with me, that you’ve looked at something (maybe a product, a service, company or even a business opportunity) and thought you understood everything about that product, service, company or opportunity.  That was me a few years ago, and I learned a very valuable lesson.  What I think I know or understand, may or may not be the case.  In other words, don’t believe what you see on the surface or hear through the grapeviine until the entire piece has been presented to you by a qualified authority.

Several years ago, a secret was revealed to me and it became one of my many ”AHA” moments.  It took a moment, and I eventually go it.  Today you’re in for a treat, because I am sharing the same secret with you.  Once you see this, you will see it over and over again and want to share the secret with your circle of friends and business partners.

Check out the FedEx logo (the same logo that you’ve seen hundreds of times over and thought nothing about).  What do you see?  On the surface, you see the word FedEx, just as I did.  Look at it carefully!  Do you see it?

It’s okay, most people don’t see it… Read the rest of this entry

RICH versus POOR

Greetings Champions,

I shared this with my readers back in Feb 2008 and still today, I believe it’s all about mindset.  So again, I am sharing with you the difference between RICH and POOR.  In most cases, before an individual can achieve any sort of success or begin creating wealth, he or she must understand and change their mindset.  I begins with defining and understanding RICH vs. POOR.  Once you acknowledge this, I am 100% positive that you will agree.

Merriam Webster’s definitions are as follows:

RICH: having abundant possessions and especially material wealth

POOR: lacking material possessions

My definition and understanding is as follows:

Realize
I
Can
Have

Passing
Over
Opportunities
Repeatedly

There was a time in my life where I continued to Pass Over Opportunities Repeatedly, not Realizing I Can Have. I can say with pure conviction and honesty that my life began to change once my mindset changed. I am RICH beyond my imagination.  What I want you to know and believe is that once you stop Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly, you too can become RICH.

Now that you know and understand the difference between RICH & POOR, I want you to go out and have yourself a great day!!!

Cheers,

Hey SuperStar,

I Can’t Remembered…

In most cases, the passing of someone or something would bring grief and mourning!  It is with great pleasure that I announce the passing of “I Can’t”,  and that ”I Can’t” does not bring on any grief or mourning to you and your loved ones.

History:  I Can’t is a contraction of the word cannot.   I Can’t has two meanings (one does not want to do or one does not know how to do).

Remember this, the next time you or someone says the words ”I Can’t”, you or they’re either saying I/they do not know how to do or do not want to do.

Today, June 9th, 2010, we’re officially burying the words “I Can’t” and are here to say our last and final goodbyes.

No longer will we allow the words “I Can’t” to hinder us in our daily lives, with our families, our places of employment, our friends, and our business.  From this day on, we will say words like “I Will, I Can, Let Me Find A Way, etc…or even come out with the truth and say I do not know how to do this or I do not want to do this.

I Can’t has been officially removed from my vocabulary, and I suggest that you follow my example and do the same.

To your continued success in your journey!

John Wooden’s Pyramid Of Success

A few years ago, I shared Coach John Wooden’s “Pyramid Of Success” with my business partners.  At this moment, I feel that it is okay and necessary once again to share the same information, with the readers and visitors to my blog.

I personally know if you study the “Pyramid Of Success” and implement the principles that Coach Wooden lives his life by, you will experience true success in your life, regardless of what business or industry you’re participating in.

The lessons Coach Wooden provides and teaches are adaptable in everyday life.  One does not have to be a basketball fan or even a sports fan to benefit from Coach Wooden’s unique wisdom and guidance.  Everyone, regardless of background, sex, etc… can benefit.

Personally, I admire Coach Wooden because he shaped the lives of so many young men during his tenure at UCLA as the Men’s Head Basketball Coach.  Although, I do not know Mr. Wooden, I do respect him and the legacy.  He has touched many lives! If only there were more men like Coach Wooden, our young men of today would have a greater respect and understanding of what life is all about.
